1959-1963 Studied in the Shota Rustaveli Turkmen State Art College, Department of Architecture, supervisor A.T. Schetinin

 

1965-1970 Studied in the Ostrovsky Theatrical and Art Institute of Tashkent under the supervision of Yu.Kiselev

 

1971 Became the member of the Artists' Union of the USSR

 

1977 Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol of Turkmenistan award for the characters of contemporaries

 

1980 First Prize in the Competition for the creation of the iconic portrait of Kurbandurdy Zelily, XIX century classical author of the Turkmen literature 

 

1987  Laureate of the State Prize of the Turkmen SSR named after Makhtumkuli

 

1994 Received the title of the "People's Artist of Turkmenistan"

 

1996 Received  Medal for "Love to Motherland"

 

1997 Received "Galkinish" award

 

1999 Laureate of the International Prize of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli.Received "Gairat" medal

 

2000 Awarded with the Golden Medal dedicated to Pushkin's 200 anniversary

 

2001,2007  Winner of the Turkmenistan President Competition "Turkmenistan Golden Age"

 

2008 Awarded an Honorary Doctor of the Turkmen Academy of Arts

 

2012 Awarded an Honorary Doctor of the Russian Academy of Arts
